PrimeTime Sports and VYPE DFW partnered up to cover the annual PrimeTime Sports Nationals expo and championships. As teams got together throughout the week of July 27th - July 31st, VYPE DFW went behind the scenes to capture all the action for fans across the country to see. Check out our highlight footage from both the expo and championship Sunday below!
At the Expo for PrimeTime Sports, teams and athletes gathered to sign in and collect their information for the week. Once all of this was complete, there were tons of vendors, events, and things to do at the Southwest Athletic Center. Athletes could find all sorts of apparel from vendors, get free fresh hair cuts, experience the 360photo booth, and more before moving on to participate in a plethora of skills competitions with the hopes of being named a Queen or King of the Court! Another big perk of the expo was being able to see current Knicks star, Julius Randle, complete a work-out in person!

Hear that? It’s the thundering of the Mustangs stampeding into the 2022 season. Cypress Ranch is coming off a year where they went 39-4 overall, rolled through district play and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
This is a program that hasn’t been past the second round since 2014 ... that is eight years. But all streaks are meant to come to an end at some point.
Led by Texas A&M-commit Bianna Muoneke, who recorded an unbelievable 673 kills in 106 sets (6.3 kills/set), will lead the offense followed by sophomore Taylor Porter, who had 380 kills.
Taryn Gilreath had 259 kills. Tya Lynch led the defense at the net with 72 blocks. Defensively, they will have to replace Kailee Gims but Muoneke (390 digs) and Porter (324 digs) should fill in nicely.
Gilreath will be leaned on to operate the offense after recording 555 assists a year ago.
