With two more wins over ranked teams, including a convincing road win over their nearest district competitor in Vandegrift, the Westwood Warriors have seized control over the Boys Power Rankings at (roughly) the halfway mark in district play.
Because Westlake looked stronger in their two wins than did Lake Travis last week, the Chaps reclaimed the #2 spot over the Cavs with Bowie joining the 26-6A parade at #4. Round Rock notched a marquee win of their own to move back into the Top 5.
With Vandegrift, East View, Cedar Park and Vista Ridge all having rough weeks, Hendrickson kept climbing the charts, aided by a clutch win over the Patriots. Meanwhile, the lower third of the Rankings remained unchanged.
