VYPE's Thomas Bingham caught up with Hutto athletic director and head football coach Brad LaPlante to talk to him about how he continues to prepare for his school's jump to the UIL 6A classification and how the cancellation of normal spring and summer offseason events are affecting his program in 2020. Coach LaPlante also dives into former Cibolo Steele defensive backs coach Adam Harvey's new role as Hutto's defensive coordinator, Hutto ISD expansion and future high school mascot plans, and his acquisition of a 700-pound porcelain hippo.
