V.R. Eaton Lady Eagles Soccer Battling Through District

The V.R. Eaton Lady Eagles have had a season of building. After finishing last season in the Region I Quarterfinals, the Lady Eagles hit offseason and started working hard to prepare for a tough season ahead. The Lady Eagles continue to battle through district play and look to improve their schedule over the next few weeks.

So Far

This season the team has been working hard to get on the right path. Fighting against tough non-district opponents, the Lady Eagles were able to post big victories over the likes of El Paso Eastwood, Lewisville, New Braunfels, and more- blanking three of their preseason opponents. Using the preseason to make sure they were fresh and ready for district play, the Eaton squad entered district energized and prepared for anything. The team has posted two district victories- a 7-0 victory over Keller Fossil Ridge and a 9-1 victory over Haltom.

What To Expect

Having faced each of their district opponents already, the team is more keen on what to expect going forward. Ready to put hard work to the test throughout the rest of district play, Eaton fans can expect to see a team that is geared up with fire in their hearts. Playing with passion and a physical presence on the field, expect to see a tone of readiness throughout the rest of district play.

The team's next game is a rematch against Keller Central on Friday, February 24 with a 6:30 p.m. start time. The game will be played in Keller.
