The 2021 season was big for Klein ISD. It saw all the playoff slots in District 15-6A taken home by its squads. Of those four, two garnered playoff wins, and one of those was Klein High. The Bearkats swept Langham Creek in the Bi-District Round to advance to Area.
The Bearkats bring back some firepower starting with junior Makenzi Johnson, who will anchor the battery unit from behind the dish and provide some power at the plate.
Johnson has the ability to blast a home run every time she steps to the plate – she’s already done that this season.
Fellow juniors Jaccie Burton and Kelsie Brown are key utility pieces for the Bearkats and can be used all over the field. Dy’Osarithz Travis will anchor the pitching staff in the circle for Klein High.
