First-team, all-district pick Delaney Wright is coming off a superior sophomore season where she had 551 kills to lead the Bears and registered a second-best 494 digs. Wright earned a spot on the TGCA All-State Team. In 2024, Wright also set the single-match kills record with 33 against Friendswood, which broke the record set back in 2017.
UT-Dallas-commit Savannah Welch, a second-team, all-district pick, chipped in 267 kills and a team-leading 102 blocks, while honorable mention, all-district pick Peyton Harts had 194 digs, 164 kills and 40 blocks.
Second-team, all-district selection Ava Collins chipped in a team-leading 680 assists and 297 digs, while Kennedy Marriott, an
honorable-mention, all-district pick, had 469 assists and 229 digs to her name.

The veteran coach will have a new-look squad in 2025 as just one starter returns off the team that reached the Regional Finals and won 35 matches in 2024.
Junior middle hitter Rahima Kone will be leaned on to lead this group after being a second-team, all-district pick. “It will be a rebuilding year for us. The team will need to build each other’s trust, and everyone will need to do their job,” Wells said.

The Falcons under head coach Morgan Hunter return four starters, including District 20-6A Offensive MVP Emerson Lechler. The senior led the Falcons with 407 kills, 270 digs and chipped in 34 blocks.
Other key returners include first-team, all-district selection Reagan Knipling (687 assists, 124 kills, 208 digs,44 blocks), District 20-6A Newcomer of the Year Sarah Carrejo (177digs, 262 assists), Zainab Kareem (110 kills, 32 blocks) and Maiya Kohn (181 digs). Knipling is verbally committed to Colgate University.
