First-team all-district libero Mina Ludwig is also back after recording 432 digs and 628 serve receptions. Running the offense will be setter Isabella Franco, who finished with 461 assists last season and is poised for a breakout year as the team's full-time floor general.
Other players to watch include second-team all-district selections Blye Thompson (OH, 195 kills), Bailey Gonzalez (OH, 196 kills) and Madyson Ladd (MB, 111 kills).
Don't be fooled by the new district and conference. Barbers Hill may be fresh to the Class 6A block, but the Eagles are no strangers to competing on the big stage.

First-team all-district middle blocker Amiya Bryant is also back after recording 175 kills and 91 blocks, while second-team all-district setter Lily Singletary returns to run the offense after registering 582 assists and 197 digs. Sophomore libero Ava Edmonds is another player to watch after totaling 212 digs and 408 serve receptions as a freshman.
Additional players expected to make an impact include Abigail Burton, Olivia Vidito, Emelia Dustmann, Ava Lawrence, Ava Schweiger, Ariya Perkins and Kate Schindewolf.
“After tying the school record for most regular-season wins, this team has an opportunity to leave its mark even higher!” Jenkins said. According to Jenkins, the keys to success for Klein Oak are simple: Start strong. Stay strong. Finish strong.

In the middle, Oak Ridge welcomes back District 13-6A Blocker of the Year Micah Rusher. The Memphis commit was a force at the net, totaling 133 blocks while adding 147 kills during her junior campaign.
Other players to watch include senior libero Brooklyn McQueary and junior middle blocker Faith Gandy.
According to Sledge, the keys to success this season will be communication, refusing to settle, embracing a "WE > ME" mentality, and consistently building one another up.
