In the middle, Oak Ridge welcomes back District 13-6A Blocker of the Year Micah Rusher. The Memphis commit was a force at the net, totaling 133 blocks while adding 147 kills during her junior campaign.
Other players to watch include senior libero Brooklyn McQueary and junior middle blocker Faith Gandy.
According to Sledge, the keys to success this season will be communication, refusing to settle, embracing a "WE > ME" mentality, and consistently building one another up.

The trio of Morgan Regner (Sr. OH), Landry Youngdahl (Sr. OH), and Abby Vogelmeier (Jr. MB) formed one of the area's most dangerous attacking groups last season, combining for more than 1,000 kills. Regner, a North Florida commit, was named the District Co-Newcomer of the Year, while Vogelmeier and Youngdahl received first-team and second-team all-district recognition, respectively.
Defensively, libero Natalie Herlambang remains the heartbeat of the back row after recording more than 700 digs last season. Avery Turner also returns and is expected to play a key role in bolstering the Falcons' defensive efforts.
Given the collection of attackers and defensive stability back in the fold, Clear Lake appears well-positioned to build on last year's postseason success and author another notable playoff push in 2026.

Pacing the attack is outside hitter Kennedy Reddin, who earned first-team all-district honors during her junior season. Senior setter Klaire Trevino, a second-team selection, serves as the steadying force and “coach on the floor,” directing the offense with poise and creativity.
Claire Walden will be counted on to elevate her offensive production in 2026, while middle blocker Oluwamayokun “Mayo” Orundami (second-team) brings a dominant presence at the net and the ability to control matches on both sides of the ball.
All in all, Cy Woods is a program on the rise—and the trajectory is pointing firmly in the right direction.
