No. 16 Fort Bend Travis Tigers
Katie Welch enters her sixth season at Fort Bend Travis and is ready to guide this squad into 2024 with five starters returning.
Last year, the Tigers went 14-2 in district play a year ago and have made the playoffs each year of the Welch coaching-era. All-district selections Lauryn Garza and Addie Flores return this season.
Keys to success for the Tigers in 2024 include being open to playing new positions, don’t leave runners stranded in scoring position and trust each other. The motto for Fort Bend Travis fits that mindset – “Embrace Your Role”.
