Hitcock returned by the UIL State Tournament for the first time since 2004 lead by head coach and alumnus Chris Jordan-Foster who gets the nod as the ARS Coach of the Week.

The lone Houston-area baseball team to capture a UIL title last spring, Kingwood’s eventual supremacy felt thoroughly earned. Nowhere was that more evident than in the Mustangs’ 5–4 triumph over defending champion Tomball, a title game decided in the closing frames of the 6A Division II State Final in Round Rock.
