Ever heard the saying, "just a year away?"

The College Park Cavs went 22-11 and 12-4 in district play a year ago with some youngsters. Remember College Park, the home of McDonalds All-American and UH hooper Quentin Grimes?

Well, coach Clifton McNeely can coach'em up with the best of them. McNeely returns first-teamers Drew Calderon and Ty Buckmon, both completely different players.

This is the "Last Dance". The timing of the Michael Jordan documentary this year was perfect, and it really correlates to Cypress Creek. It's crazy to think that Rori Harmon and Kyndall Hunter are in their final season as we've been watching them star for Jennifer Alexander's crew since their freshman year.

Pamela Crawford enters year 12 leading the Chargers and coming off a successful year – going 31-8 and reaching the Regional Finals for the first time since 2016. With 28 wins this season, Crawford will hit her 700th victory of her career. She has plenty of talent back to do so.
