A. Akinrinmade (Sr.) showed off against Bush with three solo tackles, along with C. Oliver (Sr.) and J. Cadette (Sr.) coming through with two solo tackles and two assists. I. Gorgan (Sr.) came through with a pass breakup. C. Moore (Sr.) showed off with five assists and a touchdown for the tigers.
J. Cadette (Sr.) showed off with six solo tackles along with a fumble recovery against Ridge Point. C. Oliver (Sr.) stole the show with a 44-yard completed pass and an interception. I. Grogan (Sr.) and A. Akinrinmade (Sr.) both came in with a solo tackle and an assist.
After the loss to Ridge Point for the district title, VYPE U spoke with C. Oliver (Sr.) and A. Akinrinmade (Sr.) for insights into the game. Oliver notes that with a loss in this game, they have a lot to learn moving into the next game and the playoffs. Akinrinmade stated that this was a minor setback to a major comeback. Both seniors are optimistic and know that with the young group they have, Travis will be ready to put up a fight.
