Welcome to the first edition of the ATX/SATX Team of the Week. Each week we take a look at a team from across the San Antonio/Austin area and surrounding areas that impressed us for one reason or another.
This weeks Team of the Week is the Taylor Ducks Men's Soccer Team. The Ducks continued their great 21/22 campaign this week by getting past Rockport-Fulton 4-2 and then fellow District 25-4A opponent IDEA Montopolis 2-0 in Extra periods to advance to the Regional Semifinals for the second year in a row, and forth time in five years. Ivan Aguilar, Stephen Morrison and Ty Silverton all scored for the Ducks in their victory of Rockport-Fulton while Jose Romero and Jonathan Valdez helped propel the Ducks against IDEA.

The Ducks now look ahead to this Friday where they will face a familiar foe in Hidalgo. The Pirates ended the Ducks run during this round last year. Game is 2PM in McAllen at Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
