At the net, District 21-6A Blocker of the Year Lauryn Davis returns for her senior season. The Emory commit made her presence felt on both sides of the ball, recording 100 kills and 87 blocks while emerging as one of the district’s premier middle blockers. The supporting cast is equally intriguing. Junior outside hitter Leslie Wooten brings additional firepower after posting 126 kills last season, while senior defensive specialist Brianna Ong, a second-team all-district pick, adds valuable experience and depth.
Bolstered by a championship-caliber culture, a dominant force in the middle, and one of the area’s top liberos anchoring the defense, Ridge Point appears well-equipped to remain a fixture among Houston’s top programs.
