Jackson rushes for 218, TWCA rolls past Bay Area Christian 42-7 on Homecoming
At the beginning of the season, one of the goals for The Woodlands Christian Academy players was to post an undefeated regulars season record.
The Warriors are halfway there.
In front of a packed house for Homecoming, Dane Jackson rushed for 218 yards and four touchdowns and TWCA defeated Bay Area Christian 42-7 to improve to 5-0 in 2019.
"It feels great, our kids had a goal at the beginning of the season to be a 10-0 football team," TWCA coach Randy Hollas said. "That's a tough thing to do in Texas. But they fight, they prepare and practice tremendously. We have a great senior class, we have great juniors and sophomores and freshmen. What happens is we have hard practices and our kids prepare for tough, physical football games like we had tonight.
"I'm just thrilled with what we've done so far to get to this point."

Leading 7-0 after the first quarter, TWCA pieced together a solid second quarter, capping it with a touchdown pass to Caleb Chappelle with six seconds remaining in the half. The Warriors led 21-0 at the break.
In the second half it was more of Jackson.
The junior scored three more touchdowns, two in the third quarter, to eventually push the Warriors lead up to 42-7 with 9:53 left in the game, which would be the final. Jackson had 17 carries for the 218 yards (12.82 yards per carry) and the four scores.
