A new coaching era at Cy Ranch got started off with a bang. Quarterback D.J. Ciers helped in that cause with his play in a 44-3 blowout of Cinco Ranch.
Ciers finished 15 of 20 for 221 yards and three touchdowns.
The junior did play in 10 games last season, going 14 for 30 for 173 yards and three touchdowns.
"Just trying to get my playmakers the ball and controlling the game mentally but overall we need some work but it is a good win for us," Ciers said about his performance.
