Arkansas Razorbacks: Local Faces make a return to DFW
Arkansas and Texas A&M both travel to the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Saturday to face off at Jerry's World in Arlington, Texas. Fans that attend the game might see some familiar faces returning to the DFW area on Saturday afternoon.
John Stephen Jones, QB - Highland Park
Grandson of Jerry Jones himself, this will be a grand homecoming for John Stephen Jones. Rated as a three-star prospect coming out of high school, Jones completed 505 out of 777 passes for the Highland Park Scots. Jones passed for nearly 8,000 yards and 90 touchdowns. On the carry, Jones kept the ball 265 times for a total of 674 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns. During his senior year, Jones helped lead the Scots to their second-straight state championship title finishing the season with 5,200 yards, 71 touchdowns, the District 15-5A MVP title, an all-state honorable mention, and the 2017 Landry Award.
