LOUISE CRITE ENTERS HER SECOND SEASON OF LEADING RIDGE POINT AFTER LEADING THE PANTHERS TO A 36-12 MARK AND A REGIONAL SEMIS APPEARANCE IN 2024.
Crite is three wins away from career coaching victory No. 200 entering this season. Crite returns five starters to the mix including University of Nebraska-commit Jayden Robinson and Iowa State-commit Taylor Johnson. Both were first-team, all-district a year ago.
Other players to watch include Ziya Sista, who was the District 21-6A Newcomer of the Year in 2024, and Piper Marquart, who was second-team, all-district. Reese Brunton will help on defense.
Keys to success for Crite’s team include getting consistent play from her returning starters and getting Ridge Point’s middles involved in the offense. The motto for 2025 – “BELIEVE”.
