Alright Arkansas sports fans, Christmas has come early this year, and you better get ready for it to come often. The nation’s leading high school sports magazine is taking up roots in the nation’s best high school sports region. That’s right; High School Sports the Magazine, a high-quality, free monthly publication about YOUR local kids, YOUR schools and YOUR communities has arrived!

We are going to bring you all the action each month from Bentonville down to Greenwood, and to Siloam on over to Harrison and all areas in between. We have all the action gift wrapped for your viewing pleasure each month. You name it, whether you’re an athlete, coach, teacher, athletic director, band member, cheerleader, pom girl, water boy, mascot or just a rabid fan, High School Sports the Magazine has you covered!

As the 2007 football season fast approaches we take a look at some of the area’s larger classification schools, namely the 7A West and four teams out of the 5A West. If you want to know what’s going on with your local teams as they prepare for the season, we’ve got it. If you want to know what goes through a kids mind as he is being recruited, we’ve got it. If you want to know how a 17-year NFL veteran reads defenses, we’ve got it. We’ve got it all and then some and we are going to leave you wanting more right out of the gates with the first issue!

About the time you have gotten your fix from the first issue we will be in your face again with the August issue previewing our area’s smaller classification schools from the 4A-1 and 3A-1 conferences. Also, be looking for our tennis and golf previews coming up soon.

Trust me; you will never get tired of YOUR magazine that is committed to YOUR kids, YOUR Schools and YOUR communities. Visit our website at HSSTM.com, and our Western Arkansas site at http://westernarkansas.hsstm.com/ to view the digital version of HSSTM, and for up to date local information. So here’s YOUR magazine Western Arkansas, let’s make it the best!

P.S. All of us at High School Sports the Magazine would like to express our condolences to the family, and those at the Bank of Fayetteville for the recent passing of owner John Lewis. He made our great community a better place.
