A pair of River Valley dance teams made their presence known at the first-ever Arkansas Activities Association sanctioned dance competition.

VYPE Athlete of the Week: Brandon Allen

Fayetteville sophomore Brandon Allen completed his first 13 passes before breaking a school-record with seven touchdown passes in a 63-34 win against Rogers Heritage. The victory ended the regular season by clinching the sixth a final playoff spot for the defending champion Bulldogs.

The Wildcats showed the mettle it took to reach last year’s state championship when they knocked off top-ranked and unbeaten Bentonville 20-6 Friday night.

Greenwood Beats Alma To Grab Title

GREENWOOD — Clinging to a four-point lead, Greenwood’s Evan Davis came up with the play of the game to help the Bulldogs take control and hold on late for a 40-36 win against rival Alma at Smith-Robinson Stadium on Friday.
