Memorial senior Blaise Voskuhl Staab is averaging a team-high 15.3 points for the Class 6A seventh-ranked Chargers. The 6-foot-6 forward also averages 9.3 rebounds, has recorded 13 blocked shots and is shooting 47.7 percent overall from the floor.

    Memorial head coach Eric Savage led the Chargers to the 2003 Class 6A state championship. The Chargers, led by lone returning starter Blaise Voskuhl Staab, are primed for a return to the state tournament in 2008. Memorial captured top honors at the University of Kansas team camp over the summer.
