Owasso senior Jarrod Huneryager is a vital piece to the Rams’ baseball team. Huneryager, an outfielder/designated hitter, was batting .419 with four home runs and 10 runs batted in through Owasso’s first 11 games in 2008. Huneryager has also scored 12 runs for Owasso, which remains unbeaten on the season and ranked No. 1 in Class 6A.

    Owasso head coach Larry Turner has maintained a power program for the Rams over the last three decades. In his 25th season as head coach at Owasso, Turner has led the Rams to seven state titles, the most recent coming last year, and four state runner-up finishes. The three-time Oklahoma Coaches Association Coach of the Year currently has Owasso ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation by USA Today.
