Mahtomedi’s senior running back Stephen Johnson led the metro area with 2,134 yards rushing last year and hopes to give his team a different outcome in the Class AAAA Prep Bowl this season. After shaking off the heart-breaking loss to Totino-Grace in the final game of 2007, Johnson started off strong with five touchdowns and 299 yards in the first two games this season.
