Dorsett earns Athlete of the Week honors

Woodbury's Ernest Dorsett turned in a strong performance at the Mayo Invitational.

Woodbury High School junior Ernest Dorsett is this week’s Vype Athlete of the Week after a strong showing at the Rochester Mayo Invitational track and field meet on May 3.
Dorsett finished first in the 400-meter dash with a finals time of 52.64 seconds and also took part in the Royals’ victory in the 4x400-meter relay that crossed the finish line in a time of 3 minutes, 33.37 seconds.
Dorsett’s efforts helped Woodbury finish second in the Invite with a score of 830.5 points.
