Jefferson rolls past BSM

William Flor threw a no-hitter, facing the minimum 21 batters, as Bloomington Jefferson advanced in the Section 6AAA, Subsection 3 playoffs with a 10-0 victory over Benilde-St. Margaret's. It was the second win of the day for the Jags over the Red Knights as Bloomington advances to the Final Four round of the 6AAA Tournament.
The Jaguars won game No. 1, 5-3, scoring the first five runs and hung on against a hellacious BSM comeback bid. Jefferson left fielder Ryan Siiro went 3-for-3 with one runs scored and another driven in during the victory.
Game two was not nearly as close as Flor was dominant from start to finish as his team improved to .500 for only the second time this season at 12-12.
Jefferson will face either Wayzata or St. Louis Park in the Section 6AAA Final Four on May 28 at Alimagnet Fields in Burnsville.
