Frisbee Golf
One of the fastest growing sports in America is disc golf and the Minneapolis area hosts more disc golf parks than almost any other metro area in the U.S. Similar to traditional golf, one stroke is counted each time the disc is thrown and the winner is the golfer with the lowest score. Recommended for anyone ages eight to eighty, disc golf is a great way to get out and enjoy the weather and the company you’re with.

Fort Snelling
Overlooking the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers, Fort Snelling was once the furthest outpost of America in the 1820’s. Today it helps to tell the story of Minnesota from 1820 until it closed in 1946. Stop in the visitor center to see World War II history and enjoy a tour of the Fort by actors dressed in period clothing who share skills of the soldiers, settlers, traders and servants through demonstrations. The historic venue is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
