Totino-Grace's Soccer team looks for leadership this year
The reigning state champions of girls soccer, Totino-Grace, lost 15 players to graduation last year and are looking to their few experienced players to lead the team back to state.
Here's what Coach Thibodeau has to say about the team’s senior co-captains:
Jessica Pellegrene (left) plays inside and outside midfield. She’s a great leader, has a great attitude for the game and her peers and we are hoping she'll be the one to control the game in the middle for us.
Abby Serreyn (right) has three years of varsity experience under her belt. She plays forward and we hope that she’ll be our go-to girl to get the goals. Last year she was nominated for the North Suburban Conference Honorable Mention.
Watch the Eagles this year as they try to beat the odds and make their 11th state tournament appearance.
