US U-17 Team's Minnesota Connections
St. Paul, MN
Justin Faulk of South St. Paul will again represent Team USA
U-17 2008-2009 USA Team Announced
South St. Paul's Justin Faulk has had a big summer. Going into his senior year, he decided to commit to the University of Minnesota-Duluth and was picked as one of the top seven defensemen in the country under the age of 17. Being on the Under-17 US team is nothing new for Faulk as he was able to play with the team last year as well.
Shattuck-St. Mary's Emerson Etem, from Long Beach California, will be a forward on the team and gets the opportunity to play with three teammates from his youth hockey team.
Former Minnesota North Stars player Mark Tinordi will watch his son compete internationally as Jarred earned a spot on the team. He's a 6-4 defenseman who playes for the Washington Jr. Nationals.
The US National Under-17 team will start competitive play with a four-game set on the road at the North American League Showcase from Sept 17-20.
