I want to first of all welcome all of the readers who picked our magazine up for the first time. If you want a little background on us, I suggest checking out page 12, which explains our story.

A big thank you goes out to all those supporters and advertisers who have helped us reach this landmark.

I want to first of all welcome all of the readers who picked our magazine up for the first time. If you want a little background on us, I suggest checking out page 12, which explains our story.

We have reached a major milestone this month as we’re covering both St. Paul and Minneapolis schools in the issue. We’ve waited 11 months for this and couldn’t be more excited. A big thank you goes out to all those supporters and advertisers who have helped us reach this landmark.

Another change that you might have noticed is the name that appears on our cover. Our staff remains the same and we’ll provide the same in-depth coverage as before, but we decided that we needed to freshen up our brand. We hope you’ll share in the excitement as we make the transition to VYPE High School Sports Magazine.

Along with the introduction of our new name and expanded coverage, we have developed a new website that provides you with more information then ever. I encourage you to go on to VYPE.com to view fresh content and sign up for your very own profile. Our social community has one unique thing that you won’t find anywhere else – a common love for high school sports. You can blog, respond to articles and network with other athletes/coaches/fans in the Twin Cities or all around the country.

The last thing that I want to bring to your attention is the fact that we will be continuing our magazine through the summer months. Even though school is out, there are still plenty of sporting events to cover. Make sure to continue looking for our magazine at your local stores.

With all of these changes it’s an exciting time to be a part of VYPE. We hope the welcome to Minneapolis will be as warm as it was in St. Paul and look forward to becoming an integral part of the community.
