A blocked punt returned for a touchdown, a pair of TD passes for 30-plus yards and stout defense throughout the first half combined to give New London-Spicer a 20-0 lead. Kasson-Mantorville had a chance to keep it 12-0, but the KoMets defender in coverage fell down on NL-S's 33-yard TD pass with 57 seconds to go in the second half.
