Blaine upsets EP to start off quarterfinals

There will be a new champion crowned in Class AAAAA as No. 1 ranked Eden Prairie fell short Thursday night. Blaine ended the Eagles' 39-game winning streak and advances to the Dome where they will face the winner of the Cretin/Lakeville South game.

Volleyball tournament set

Twenty-four coaches sat at their computers and voted to determine the top four seeded teams in each class and gender for the 2008 State Girls’ Volleyball Tournament.
