Ryann Harrelson is a sophomore at Raleigh Charter High School and has been on the crew team since her freshmen year. As the spring crew season begins, VYPE thought it was the perfect time to interview her for our Triple Play feature. Who can guess her answers to a few silly questions: her mom or her coach?

Ryann became interested in crew because her older sister, Lindsay, was involved in the sport and loved it. Ryann explains, "She would come home and talk about how much fun crew was, so I got really excited and wanted to do it when I got to high school." Now that she is a part of Raleigh Charter's crew team, she enjoys the family-like atmosphere with her teammates, "It's amazing how much fun you can have even if you're having the hardest practice of your life."
