Parker Harrell, Catcher for Apex High School, has been playing baseball for the past 12 years, following in his father's footsteps who also played the sport. VYPE caught up with Parker to ask him a few fun questions for this month's Triple Play. We wondered who can guess how he answered: Dad or Apex's Coach Valder?
Parker says the best thing about playing for Apex is that "the coaches and the community take baseball very seriously." Support like that can come in handy during a tough game or season. Parker explains the hardest thing about baseball is "the mental aspect of the game and trying not to get frustrated. It is a game based on failure and overcoming that can be challenging."
