Richard Williams

Publisher and Managing Partner

Rich Williams is the managing partner of C2C Productions, LLC and serves as the publisher of VYPE High School Sports Magazine in the Triangle and Greater Charlotte areas. Rich is active in the local community serving on the unit board for the Wake Forest Boys & Girls club, the Trentini Foundation and as chair of the Renaissance Ball. Rich is also the president of Connect2 Communications, Inc, a public relations and marketing firm focused on helping companies transition.
Teri Saylor

Editor

Teri, a native North Carolinian, grew up in Winston-Salem and graduated from North Carolina State University. She started her career as a reporter and photographer for The Roanoke Beacon, a small, weekly newspaper in Plymouth, N.C.

She was the longtime executive director of the North Carolina Press Association. In August 2005, she started Open Water Communications, specializing in association management, organizational consulting and freelance writing. She also worked for FirstPoint Management Resources as an account executive.

For more than two years, she has written the weekly column, “Who’s Got Game,” for The North Raleigh News section of The News & Observer.

Today she manages all editorial content for VYPE High School Sports Magazine.
Ashley Baster

Production, Distribution & Events

Prior to joining the VYPE team, Ashley held a career in Public Relations and Event Coordination where she developed a strong sense for organization and project management. Today, she serves as VYPE’s Production Manager, where she oversees in-house production and print schedules, distribution, events and community relations. Occasionally, you will find her articles in the magazine, as she covers VYPE’s Spirit beat. Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University where she majored in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Kathlyn Vincent

Graphic Designer

Kathlyn joined the VYPE team last fall and really enjoys the challenge of a monthly publication.

Prior to VYPE she worked in advertising, marketing and book publishing.

Kathlyn graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Studio Art and a concentration in Graphic Design.
