Raleigh - In front of 60+ friends, family, teammates and teachers, Brian Kass made it official today by signing his National Letter of Intent to play college ball at Wofford. During his two years at Millbrook, Kass put up some impressive numbers in the air (5,000 yards and 37 TDs) and on the ground (1,651 yards and 34 TDs) making him a double threat that kept opposing teams guessing. He's also fast, clocking in a 40-yard dash at 4.4 seconds. He also racked up awards, named in both seasons as Millbrook's Offensive Player of the year and Cap-7 All Conference team member. Brian's father Dave talked for a bit about the importance of family and how proud he was off all his kids. He spoke of how Millbrook has had a deep impact on his family and how they look forward to cheering from the stands on Friday nights next year even though they won't have a player on the field. Kass comes from an athletic family. His older brother Rob plays QB for East Carolina University and his sister Pamela, a sophomore at Millbrook is a three sport athlete. His father Dave played football at Wake Forest, New Hampshire and in the USFL.
