Wall's decision will come after visits, possibly in April

John Wall (Word of God) was one of the most talked about players at the GlaxoSmithKline Holiday Invitational, and during the post game press conferences, he was one of the most talked to. It is safe to say that Wall was the only player ESPN was following around with a camera crew during the tournament. According to Wall, ESPN's "E-60" is going to be using him in a future story. Almost all the questions directed to Wall in the press conferences had something to do with recruiting, and Wall provided few insights into his process. Last fall, Wall said he would make a decision sometime after Christmas. During the tournament he said he would announce where he is going to college after he takes three more official visits, probably in April. Wall has already taken official visits to Memphis and Kansas, and two of his upcoming visits will be to Miami (Fla.) and Baylor. "I have one more I have to setup," Wall said. Other possible schools include Duke, N.C. State, and Oregon. "Once I take a few more official visits, that's when I think I'm going to try to trim my list down and make a decision in April," Wall said after beating Rocky Mount in the opening game of the GlaxoSmithKline Holiday Invitational. Duke coaches watched Word of God play all three times during the tournament, and head coach Mike Krzyzewski, along with a number of players, joined Steve Wojciechowski and Nate James at the championship game on Tuesday. Scout.com's national director of recruiting Dave Telep told HighSchoolOT.com before the tournament that Duke's involvement with Wall was "in it's infancy stages," but Wall confirmed during the tournament that their is interest coming from the Blue Devils. However, Scout.com lists Wall as having low interest in Duke and Miami. Wall is a five-star player, according to both Scout.com and Rivals.com, and he is listed as the top point guard in his class. Telep didn't go as far to say that Wall was the best overall player in his class, but acknowledged that he has a chance to become that player. Members of the media voted Wall as the Most Outstanding Player at the GlaxoSmithKline Holiday Invitational. The senior scored 58-points in three games.
