On the day after Christmas, holiday hoops are coming to Raleigh. Twenty teams (4 girls teams and 16 boys teams) will battle it out in the 37th Annual GSK Holiday Invitational Basketball Tournament and this year promises to be something to remember. With nationally ranked players like John Wall from World of God, Ryan Kelly from Ravenscroft, Lorenzo Brown of Centennial (Roswell Ga), Mason Plumlee of Arden Christ School, and Nolan Dennis of Richland (North Richland Hills, Texas). And get a look at two of the top prospects from the 2010 class - Reggie Bullock of Kinston and CJ Leslie of Word of God. You can also get a look at the seven of the eight players we profiled in our December "Lords of Dunktown" feature (http://www.vype.com/raleighdurham/general/5174). The feature, which profiled Wall, Kelly, Marcus Wells, Southern; Garrius Adams, Middle Creek; Earnest Ross, Panther Creek; Stan Okaye, Knightdale; Josh Davis, Athens Drive, and Tom Tankelewicz , Middle Creek, was a point-counter-point look at some of the area's top talent by VYPE's online correspondent, Lamonte Garrett, Dave Telep, national recruiting director for Scout.com and Fred Dry, local sports reporter and photographer.
