So Far, Games are Still On in Raleigh

It's 3:15 and the softball and baseball championships are still slated to get under way.
So far, weather does not rule.
This afternoon, the softball teams call batter up at 5 p.m. at Walnut Creek.
Baseball's first pitch goes out at 8 p.m. tonight.
Local teams vying for state championships are the Fuquay-Varina Lady Bengals, competing for the softball crown and the Sanderson Spartans, working hard for the coveted baseball trophy.
