VYPE Suits up in Four New Markets Crazy about High School Sports

Forbes Business Wire: Dallas, TX. VYPE, today announced the addition of four new franchise markets for its local high school sports magazines including Central Arkansas, Raleigh/Durham, NC, Greater Dallas, TX and NW Houston, TX. VYPE brings together the collective interest of the entire high school sports community, bridging economic and social divides by creating a family friendly, high-impact local magazine relevant to today's youth.

"These exciting new markets will bring VYPE to over two million potential readers to share in the passion and excitement of sports in its purest form with in-depth coverage, real-time content and authentic local views about high school sports," said Kevin Hern, CEO of VYPE. "We look forward to providing additional opportunities for our advertisers to see real results in their target markets."

"The Little Rock metro area has been in need of a community-building publication such as VYPE High School Sports Magazine," said Rhett Lashlee, market director of VYPE High School Sports Magazine: Central Arkansas. "Being a trusted media partner to local schools, coaches, athletes and families and providing a tangible opportunity for local businesses to reach their patrons is a win-win for everyone."

"Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill have a long history of celebrating high school sports and athletes," said Richard M. Williams, publisher of VYPE High School Sports Magazine: Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill. "We are excited to play a leading role in providing an outlet to capture the passion and excitement of sports to both our local advertisers and our high school athletes."

Each location will also launch a regional section on VYPE.com--which will provide an interactive, positive environment for local students to exchange ideas, post highlights, share accomplishments and track what other student athletes from across town or across the nation are doing. VYPE.com includes interactive games, contests and message boards, along with real-time stats on local teams, players and games.

"Our VYPE High School Sports Magazine publication creates an opportunity for positive community building at over 100 high schools in the Greater Dallas metropolitan area," said JD Sanders, president of both VYPE High School Sports Magazines: Greater Dallas and Collin County. "We are eager to expand our vibrant participation in the community and highlight the trends and accomplishments of local high school athletes who contribute to the tradition of Texas sports."

"As the first of four franchises in the Houston area, we are excited to launch our first publication in NW Houston," said Matt Malatesta, market director of VYPE High School Sports Magazine: NW Houston. "This publication will serve as a great way to showcase the lives and lifestyles of high school athletes--where they eat, what they do in their free time, and what their future holds."
