HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS IN FORT WORTH-DENTON GETS VYPED
High School Sports - The Magazine changes name to VYPE High School Sports Magazine
Fort Worth, TX 6/2/08, –VYPE High School Sports Magazine, formerly High School Sports - The Magazine, today unveiled an updated brand designed to better capture the passion and excitement of local high school sports. The new name and design will be launched in its July edition. As a combination of the words “varsity” and “hype” VYPE High School Sports Magazine focuses on the life and lifestyle of today’s high school athlete with positive, relevant coverage about sports, trends, teams and players.
“We’re really excited to be updating our brand to VYPE High School Sports Magazine and keeping the same editorial focus and local coverage as our readers have come to expect,” said Kevin Erickson, Publisher, of VYPE High School Sports Magazine. “As VYPE High School Sports Magazine, we will continue to serve the collective interest of local high school sports communities by creating family-friendly, high-impact coverage that tackles issues directly relevant to today’s youth.”
Nationwide, there are over 7.3 million boys and girls that participate in high school athletic programs . VYPE High School Sports Magazine and VYPE.com provide an interactive, positive environment for these students to exchange ideas, post highlights, share accomplishments and track what other student athletes from across town or across the nation are doing. VYPE.com includes interactive games, contests and message boards, along with up-to-date stats on local teams, players and games.
