VYPE and Time Warner Cable Team Up to Deliver Weekly High School Sports Show

VYPE High School Sports Magazine announced today a partnership with Time Warner Cable in Dallas to co-produce a weekly high school sports program - VYPE-Metro Sports High School Report - which debuted Thursday, September 4, 2008.

The program, hosted by Chris Schneider of News Radio KRLD 1080, highlights the area's top teams from the previous week, previews the week's upcoming matchups, and includes segments such as The VYPE Hot 20, Teams and Players to watch, Rankings, and interviews with area coaches and high school sports newsmakers. The show will appear on Time Warner Cable's channel 185, Thursdays at 7:00pm, CST. The show will also be available On Demand through the end of the year.

Gary Underwood, Time Warner's Director of Communications & Public Affairs for North Texas said, "VYPE is the area's best source for daily high school sports content and the perfect partner for Metro Sports' outstanding video coverage of our area's student-athletes and their passionate fans."

JD Sanders, FTG Media's publisher of VYPE said, "Metro Sports is a great community partner and covers high school sports in a big way. The first show aired last week and we're elated with Time Warner Cable's production quality and host Chris Schneider. This program will certainly assist in our mission to cover high school sports like no one else, and celebrate the accomplishments of these student athletes."
