Indiana high school football is making its national debut this weekend and VYPE High School Sports Magazine is on center stage. To celebrate ESPN’s live telecast of Class 4A No. 1 Cathedral vs. Class 5A No. 1 Carmel, VYPE will award two MVP trophies at Saturday’s game.  That same day, Compton Strategies  has invited  VYPE and Sallie Mae to the Marsh Indiana Invitational football classic at Lucas Oil Stadium to award eight academic award plaques  to athletes who have excelled in the classroom.

This weekend marks the start of an exciting partnership between VYPE, Marsh Supermarkets and 1260-AM WNDE to enhance the coverage and visibility of high school sports and student-athletes. Courtesy of a Marsh radio sponsorship, look for VYPE to be in the heart of the action this fall, with weekly tailgates, appearances on JMV's top-rated sports talk show, “The Drive” on WNDE and much more. The exciting action partnership starts today outside Lucas Oil Stadium prior to the PeyBack Classic.

VYPE has also announced that Mary-Rachel Dick has joined the magazine as Business Development and Director of Video Content. A former All-County soccer player at Lawrence Central High School, Mary-Rachel brings a passion about sports and sports reporting to the magazine. You will also see Mary-Rachel as a reporter for the Big Ten Network, covering the action from Big Ten stadiums each week. Dick is a 2007 Purdue University graduate.
