Kat Hanni - Carmel Girls Soccer
A co-captain last year as a junior, Hanni returns to anchor the middle of the Carmel defense this fall – an important task with the loss of All-State goalkeeper Emma Gormley. Hanni is a four-year varsity starter for the Greyhounds, who also return seniors Erin Blewitt (off a season-long injury last year) and Taylor Cornwell. The squad opens its season Aug. 18 against Zionsville before heading north to a loaded field at the Aug. 22-23 SB St. Joseph’s Invitational.
