Claire Freeman
Eagles senior Claire Freeman (below, right) took matters into her own hands during the Class 2A girls basketball championship at Lucas Oil Stadium against Oak Hill. With three seconds left on the clock in overtime, Freeman banked a leaning runner to lift the Eagles to victory, 60-58, and their fourth consecutive state title. After the final horn, she was immediately swarmed by her teammates and coaches.
