Joy Williamson is a senior at Putnam City North with high expectations for the coming basketball season. Joy will be asked to carry the load for the Panthers. VYPE took some time to catch up with Joy, his coach and his brother to see who knows Joy best.

On a team that returns no significant varsity experience, Coach Rick Harris said that how well Joy plays will determine how the season goes. "He's got the total package" Harris said. The team captain's greatest strengths lie in his tenacity on the court, as well as his ability to finish above the rim with jaw-dropping dunks. Williamson is currently being recruited by UCO, Witchita State, and OCU, and expects to gain more interest from other schools as the season progresses.
