TULSA-Conditions were near perfect for the Class 4A State Track Meet at East Central High School in Tulsa. Other than a few soggy spots, the heat wasn't a factor neither was the wind.
Tuttle hurdler Aspen Marical tore through the field in the 100-hurdles with a time of 15.37. Her closest competitor was Angel Carpenter from Northeast with a time of 16.22. Teammate Kaylee Brunson (Tuttle) ran a time of 16.39 just short of second place. Vinita had two finishers, Dana Downing (4th) and Jessica Hoodenpyle (6th). Idabel also had a girl place in the top five with Alex Bartholomew taking that fifth spot.
But in the 300-hurdles Brunson proved she belonged with the best of them winning the event. Marical placed second giving Tuttle a first and second place showing.
Team results:

Madill 67
Idabel 61
Northeast 58
