TULSA-The Owasso Rams didn't need last inning heroics to beat Edmond Santa Fe. All they needed was Austin Kirk on the mound. While he didn't pitch a no-hitter he still threw a good game giving up one run, which happen to be a home run late in the game. Kirk threw a complete game in the Owasso win. The Santa Fe batters struggled to figure out the senior pitcher.
The Rams put 10 points on the scoreboard and never let the Wolves get things started. Santa Fe never felt they were out of it as they battled every inning to try and find the right combination of pitchers. At the plate the Wolves struggled, but when they did get on base they were able to steal whenever they wanted too. But the Rams proved to be too much at the plate getting hit after hit and walking in 3 runs.
