Gabe Lynn has been big name around the Jenks campus for several years. Even as a young youth and junior high player people knew there was something special about this young man. Lynn's older brother Phillip Dillard graduated from Jenks as well and took his football show on the road to Nebraska, but Gabe was wouldn't follow in his brothers footsteps. With offers coming in from nearly every big name college, Lynn had to narrow it down and make a choice. Miami, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Florida? Which school would win the Lynn lottery? Lynn was a shut-down corner for the Trojans and even spent some time on offense as a receiver and kick returner, but it's his speed and skill at the corner position that caught the attention of the Oklahoma coaching staff. Lynn joins a Sooner team in need of some quality defensive backs. How soon can he start? That really depends on Lynn. He has a strong work ethic and could find himself on the field in 2009.
