The names on offense have sent shivers down the backs of defensive coordinators all year. Jeremy Smith, Chase Boyce, Tracy Moore, Anthony Foster and up front guys like Brian DeShane make it impossible to get pressure on anyone. But the defense has got the job done this season and they're doing it in such a matter-of-fact way many people are overlooking what they've accomplished. Senior linebacker Daniel Hausher is the teams leading tackler with over 100 solo's. That a difficult task considering most of the tackles made by the defense usually have two or three guys arriving at the ball at the same time. Hausher also leads in the sack category. At 6-foot, 195 pounds Hausher is quick with good size. The secondary is loaded with Howard Scarborough, Randy Stanley and Terrell Williams. Sacrborough has 74 tackles with three interceptions on the season, but Randy Stanley may be the guy to throw away from. He's intercepted four balls and ran one back for a touchdown. Bobby Lind and Garrett Fugett are big time contributors as well. Lind with 69 tackles in the regular season and Fugett with four sacks. Luke Snider has two fumble recoveries, one for a touchdown. The Redskin defense is the key to victory Friday night against Jenks. Expect them to pressure the sophomore quarterback and contain the running game. The defensive lines match-up with the Jenks offensive line is the battle to watch.
