You couldn't make up a better scenario for the Muskogee Roughers. Hosting Jenks at home on Halloween. This is the sort of stuff they write books about. But we'll see if the Roughers have what it takes to stop a Trojan team that's scored 307 points and only given up 57 points on the season.
Jenks (4-0) 6-1 at Muskogee (4-0) 5-2 - Key Players - Muskogee - Eric Howell-LB. Archie Bradley-QB, Robert Thomas-DT - Jenks - Sawyer Kollmorgan-QB, Grant Goodwin-RB, Gabe Lynn-CB. The Roughers have edged out several opponents this season with last second heroics and special teams. Jenks starts the sophomore Kollmorgan who's looked good against lesser talented teams. Muskogee is at home, but Jenks has played well in the Indian Bowl in recent history. Look for a treat not a trick for the Trojans. Jenks wins 38-12.
Central (1-3) 4-3 at Coweta (4-0) 5-2 - Key Players - Central - Demarco Cobbs-QB, Gabe Ball-OL/DL, Morris Thompson-DT - Coweta - Amos Cherry-LB/RB, Dillon Vaughn-QB, Clint Keel-LB. Coweta has proven the 4-0 record in district is no joke. But the Braves are playing at a high level right now and are looking to upset the Tigers. Head coach Bubba Burcham is prepared for the all-out style of Centrals offense and is prepared to stop the running attack. Look for Coweta to trick the Braves out of a win here and remain undefeated. Coweta wins, 24-17.
Sallisaw (3-1) 6-1 at Wagoner (3-1) 4-3 - Key Players - Sallisaw - David Hadley-WR, Matt Oberste-QB, Hayden Spencer-DT - Wagoner - Gus Jones-LB/RB, Jason Emmons-QB, Aaron Applegate-CB/S. Battle of two old foes will bring the fans out in force. This is the type of game that as a fan you can't wait to see. Gus Jones is carrying the load for the Bulldogs after suffering an injury earlier in the season. David Hadley is making big plays for the Black Diamonds and continues to impress coaches. You can bet this will be a hard hitting game that Wagoner should pull out at home. Wagoner wins, 17-14.
Other games of interest include: Class 3A Claremore Sequoyah at Cascia Hall, Victory Christian at Berryhill, Checotah at Idabel. Class 2A Keys at Vian, Spiro at Hartshorne.

Wait a minute. talk about colored glasses. I'm looking at this objectively. You are obviously a Rougher fan. I tell you what, after the drop me a line, lets talk then.
I've got 2 letters for you...O-T. And while you obviously looking at this game through Trojan colored glasses...it means OUR TIME...for the Roughers. You're no doubt like the rest of the Tulsa community that only sees 2 teams Jenks and Union. Friday night at Indian Bowl it will be different...it's Hallow-GREEN and the Roughers straight up! By the way, your picks will end up 1-and-2...as the Diamonds will dog the Dawgs...Sallisaw over Wagoner. Bubba and the boys at Coweta will leave the Braves looking for a ride home without the win.
